I would just keep trying. Make sure to use a harness and just keep guiding him to walk in one direction. Your baby will get it. I have seen Ceasar work with this on his show. maybe you can catch one of his shows when he is training a dog to walk on leash. Also try treats, you may find this works for you. But don't give up, you will be successful.
