it's called "running gold" when the gold hairs intermix with the blue like that. I've heard that some lines have a lot of this...unfortunately, many dye the hair to cover up the fault in the ring..but then they pass along this trait to the puppies they produce

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
