I know I am so stupid about this kind of thing, so I apologize, but I've never been in a situation like this. If I took her to small claims court would I need to have a lawyer? How would I go about this process? I'm sorry for being so ignorant. I realize I screwed up by not having a very specific contract with her in the beginning, but I do have all the emails that we sent to each other in a file, and I have her stating several times that she will send the papers, etc. I also have the bank statements where I paid her. I have the paypal receipt for the deposit and the extra cost on shipping as well.
Like someone else said, I know I may not be able to remedy this for MYSELF at this point, but at least maybe I can keep someone else from ending up in the same situation. She did tell me about her health, but I was promised these papers with the purchase of the dog and didn't get them, and now it's been way too long with no response. I feel that I am definitely being ignored and cheated, and I don't think that's something that should be let go unresolved. |
