Isn't that adorable! And, of course, if you put some toys up there for him, they wouldn't be the 'right' ones and he'd still have to do this routine.
And what a good wife you are to get up and fix coffee at 4 a.m. for your DH. My DH has to get up at 4 a.m. also, I tell him if he wants coffee he better set the pot to automatic before he goes to bed the night before!
I will, however, get up at 4 to let the kids out to potty if they insist they can't wait the 20 minutes DH needs to get dressed first.
