My two boys do the same. It's hard to cook around them
I don't want to spill anything hot on them. Josie would rather hang out with "Dad"
If I go to the bathroom and close the door- Jojo will sit by
the door. Sometimes when I open it he falls down cause he was leaning up against it

I like it...so I'll go with it's normal. I will say that Yorkies have a
special way of knowing how we are feeling so maybe he's trying to comfort you. maybe let him know your doing ok. He'll slowly adjust. Good Luck
