Great advice! What you have said makes a lot of sense....the mom's confusion and probably her body feeling the need to nurse her babies...maybe she was just confused. She could have been desperate to nurse her babies and in turn, was determined to get to the other litter....and maybe the other mom was fighting over her babies.

Is there any way that the poor momma that lost her babies could nurse/raise one of the puppies from the other litter??
