If you come up with a word, make sure your entire house is using the same word. I have fiona going on command now, and now she is going when i tell her to go squat, and quickly! she literally squats when i say that! Consistancy is the key! Fiona is now 10 months old and was fully potty trained at 3.5 months old! just be patient, and it will all work out! I know since she is so tiny it may be difficult, especially if its cold out, but hey if your using the pads plus teaching her to go outside, im sure she will figure it out! good luck!
This is GREAT advice! Super good behavior modification!! By the way...I live in CO and have decided going out in the cold & snow & wind is not for me (or my dog.) I'm just going to deal with pee pads. Now..If I can get her to stop ripping them up!!!
Best of luck.
