Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder Most all rescues post their adoptable yorkies there and it really is a great place to start your search! You can search by breed and your location since most rescues do not ship their dogs be prepared to go where ever their foster mom lives. Living in Central FL, I will bet there are plenty of little ones needing home. They will also require you to submit an application and they do a very through background check regarding your ability to care for a rescue. Good luck in your search!
