We have a 2 yr old yorkie male. He is always very nervous, shy, and VERY possessive of his mother. He doesn't much like playing with other dogs, even if they try to play with him. We were thinking about getting another yorkie for him to be with and play with (especially if we are at work and have to leave him at home).

Has anyone had any experience with this and/or getting another puppy after having a "only child" for so long? We are worried this might harm him more than help?
