i think you should use the baby gate as your last resort

I mean, do you want to be stepping over one for the rest of your dogs life? What if you were to try to step over it with the baby in your arms and you were to fall? removing it everytime you need to get in the room is ALOT of work, and yo will eventually tire from it. It would be alot more simple, and better for you AND your dog, if you simply taught her the differance She just needs a few more boundaries set for her.. lol

I dont think it should be about taking the easy way out. It will most likely cause problems in the future.
