 Toby's paws are raw!
Help! I know this has to do with the cold, but it might be from the stuff they throw for the snow. We have walked longer than usual for the last three days. I've noticed Toby licking his paws, and it's something new. When I got a closer look, there are spots where the "greyness" of his little pads has rubbed off and it is blacker and sort of a flat, not shiny surface. Today when we went to walk he stopped and wouldn't go any further. I picked him up and turned back, put him down he walked a little way and then started picking his front left paw up.
When we got home I dipped his feet in a little bowl of warm water, and gently dried. Any suggestions? What can I put on that he won't lick off? |
