we used to fly to europe over 8 hours and never give sedatives to the yorkie..he did great and we even took him out of the carrier on our laps and he got so much attention he loved it... they even offered food for him when we got served and instead of water he got to lick an ice cube..but once we landed he sure did have to do his business... i would not give sedatives to a dog on the plane most are better than the kids crying ...
