Just an FYI, too much sugar ISN'T good for pups, yes, but the tiny amount of yogurt they would consume per day really wouldn't make much difference. I know a couple of YT members that feed their dogs flavored ones very occasionally and also the added fruit ones too. I was only doing plain, but I got set straight that it would be no big deal if I used a flavored or fruit-added one instead.
Also there is GREEK yogurt (the brand I know of is Greek Goddess) that is a thicker consistency and had many less calories. That's what I eat and I think it's great.....fig flavored, mmmmm! Anyway, they have plain and vanilla too, as well as other flavors (pomegranate for one), so you may want to try that for variety. I get it in the organic section of my grocery store.
