 Adjusting to the crate ?
We just got Bailey on Tuesday and with our other dogs, we've always crate trained them. I really want to crate train Bailey, but he isn't taking to well to it. When we put him in there at night (after he's gone potty and is all tuckered out) he cries & cries. He wakes us up in the middle of the night to go potty - which he is taken outside to do his business and then put back in his crate. How long should it take for him to get used to the 'routine?' Our other dogs cried for maybe the first night and then they were fine. |
