I have two purebred Yorkies and I also have a baby boy Yorkie/Maltese. You can see him here:

I think he has some qualities of the Maltese, like his gentle nature and very even temperament that is evident already even though he's only 3 months old. I think he has some Yorkie qualities too that help balance his appearance -- he's a perfect mix!
