I have two wire ex-pens (and a canvas one for the front door) and are they ever handy. They can also be used as a baby gate to block off the babies to the kitchen or other large area that has no carpet. I raised all three in the ex-pen. Not together. Zada also lived in the ex-pen for two months when she had both knees operated on. We take them traveling, picnic's and all.
