Has it caused you problems? Has anybody had it long in the winter before but have also had the fur short in the winter, if so, what were the pros and cons of both? Do you think its a good idea????

I keep my girls short cut So much easier to deal with. As for the cold I have coats and sweaters for them, they don't go out in really cold. I don't think long hair is going to keep them significantly warmer, a thicker coat would but that is not going to happen with this breed. IMHO
I just like a short cut look better, I also don't cut the hair on the ears so it tends to make the ears fold down, Again a personal preference.
