I'm not against mixed breeds, most of the dogs, I've owned were mixed breeds I got from the pound, and they were really cute wonderful dogs. I'm against the breeding of mixed breed dogs, and the propaganda these breeders spout. There is no way of knowing what you will end up with when you breed one breed to another. It's a crapshoot, and so many of these breeders will say it will hypoallergenic like the yorkie, but have the temperament of a whatever. There is no way you can predict this, and unfortunately way too many of these dogs end up at the pound. With a purebred you can be pretty sure of knowing what the adult dog will look and be like, and the good breeders dogs never end up at the pound. Sorry that was so long, but I did want to clear up some of the confusion regarding mixed breeds. A big welcome to Yorkietalk, it has lots to offer, whether you have a Yorkie or not! I didn't have one when I first joined.
