Yes I agree too!
Pay him for stud service and have her spayed asap. I am not a breeder, but to me it sounds like she had complications and I wouldn't want to take the chance again. Love her as a pet.
As for the pup, you will mostly likely being spending countless hours making sure he lives, I couldn't bare the thought of giving him up after that
P.S. This 'guy' wanting the pick *runt* female of the litter doesn't sound so good to me
