Finnigan hates the cold so walks are out of the question. Once it drops below 50/60 in the fall he start shivering. Also, for some reason our covenant won't allow us to build fenses in our yard. He also will not go back to using a pee pad so upstairs off our deck we have two ex-pens in a horseshoe shape at the bottom of the stairs and down stairs we have a tie out with a string leash we just put him on. We let him out and he's really fast at doing his business in the cold! Last night it was 7 degrees outside so we had him in his sweater and I got his huge coat out, which he hates, but it keeps him warm so he'll wear it for outside! Tomorrow its supposed to get even colder so we'll see how he does, last year he would still use pee pads every now and then, but now he will not.
Luckily, we've not had much snow because he doesn't like it either, but we shovel him off a path and he has booties to wear.
