lol my kids get this too...

you are going to need to trim around the "opening" (i do about an in inch in all directions so it will be a circle shape) and i also trim the underside of the very base of the tail ... if they get pooh stuck anyway, i grab a soaking wet paper towel (if i do not have time for a full bath) and soak the area with warm water and gently comb it out once the pooh has softened
