I put the pad in a doggie litter pan. Lexi has to go IN the pan to use the pad, so we don't really have problems with missing the pad.
Finally, if you do want her to go outside, it might be a good idea to put some of her urine outside where you want her to go, or take a pad that she has peed on once, place it outside, and bring her there to go. After she gets used to going there a couple of times, she might not need the pad.

I'm actually planning to move her pad to the laundry room, but I'd have to reorganize everything in there because all the cat's stuff is in there. My poor cats are no going to have to jump on the dryer for their food lol.
I tried the litter pan thing and she refused, I'd put her in there when I just KNEW she had to go and she wouldn't, she would run off and pee elsewhere. I tried this for a while and she just wouldn't do it, so I gave up.
I'll do the pee pad thing outside, thanks for your help.
