note really, foolish us we answered a for sale ad from someone saying they could not keep their new puppy anymore because they were moving somewhere that the dog would not be accepted. Once they had our money they said they had to work in Cameroon and would have to ship the dog and asked for more.Stupid us we sent it and of course, had the flight number etc went to the airport and no pup. Several frantic days of calling the airport and 'shipping' company later we figured out we were scammed. We called the police but because it was international they could do nothing. After that of course, we noticed tons of similar scams all involving Cameroon. That was when we learned this is a multi country scam. Our loss but what about that tiny female pup. We don't know when the pics were taken or what befell that darling animal and it is eating us up. |
