You've got a couple of issues to work though - the biting and the barking.
First thing though - you have to establish you are the Alpha. Dogs are socialized in PACKS and every pack has a leader. YOU MUST BE THE LEADER!
He needs a "place" a SAFE place that he can be put when you leave. You pick him up and you tell him, I'll be back, and place him in the crate or octagon or cage.
When you return, you reward him.
I would suggest doing this for small little trips - even if it is just to go for a walk around the block by yourself. He needs to know that you are always coming home and you are glad to see him when you get home BUT, he needs to understand how his behavior needs to be.
You will have other suggestions posted and I'm sure they will also be very good options for you! Be consistent and be the pack leader!
