That's an interesting question. It reminds me of a book I read, "Why dogs know when their masters are coming home." I highly recommend the book.
In there it talks about dogs - anything over 45 minutes is the same time....nap time! so - you go to work and come home for lunch - it is the same time to them as when you go to work and come home at 5ish. |
