A friend of mine recently told me that she thinks dogs can't tell the difference between whether you leave them for an hour or 8 hours- do you think this is true? I know that Tobey mostly sleeps when I am gone but I have been feeling extra guilty since being back to work after the holidays and having to leave him home alone so much.
