We'll when i am giving my boy a shower I just run the water over his face real quick and then I caress his hair back. I do it really quick and I guess he is just used to it. And of course these dogs are just little guys so I can hold him pretty firmly. I normally do this when I am holding him close in the shower. I don't use shampoo in his eye or mouth area. So its just a quick rinse. I just clean his neck and beard when I wash the rest of his body.
