| Just make sure you give it some time okay. He will have to get used to a bathe or shower, whatever you do. My boy just stands at the end of the shower and I have to move him into the stream of water as I bathe him. Sometimes when I rinse him I will pick him and hold him close and rinse him like I was holding a baby. This can make them feel secure specially if you are holding him tight. Or you can just let him stand on his own. As far as the products I have never heard of them. I just use a regular moisturizing shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Then I use a spray in conditioner when I comb him. I also use a spray in bath oil that I get from Petsmart. This helps keep his skin and coat moist. The spray is not oily and I love it. Sometimes in the winter months my boy gets dry skin. This oil really helps. Good Luck and let us know how it goes. |
