I have tried to motivate pixel and give him more attention than before. pixel has lost weight and now he is 1.8 kg. i think he feels that he is not center of attention anymore and he is jealous about that. moreover, he is peeing at home (he has not done it since he was 5 months old). i don't know what to do, do you think i have to talk with his vet? he also shivering and sometimes i feel he has a sore throat. he sleep most of the day.

I'm sorry you are having problems, that experience was probably very traumatic for him. He probably would do better in a home where he is the only dog, but I'm concerned that he's losing weight. The peeing might be him marking and this is different than regular peeing, but when a new dog comes into the pack, the old dog feels it necessary to mark his territory. They don't really think about it, it's an automatic response, much like sneezing and there isn't much you can do about it, except some people use belly bands. The way you can tell the difference is that marking is usually around a tablespoon or less, peeing is much more. Has he been neutered? I do think it's important that he see a vet, weight loss is always an important symptom. The shivering could be a sign of hypoglycemia, and you might want to read up on that.
