Hi, About the ears, Yorkies ears will flop down sometimes when they are teething. My guess from what you have stated is that his ears will stay up, not floppy.
The food you have listed is not the best out their. You can go to the Yorkie Health and Diet section and read their. It has a lot of good suggestions on what good food is out their. Just because the vet said it would be a "good" food is not a good indicator that it is "good. Most likely the Vet receives something from the company for promoting their food for them. My vet recommends Science Diet but my Yorkies do not get that. Puppies need special diets than an adult does so stick with a puppy formula. Or look for an all Life stage food, its good for puppies, adults and senior dogs.
