He suspected a bladder tumor. We decided on exploratory surgery to find out for sure what the problem was. None of us thought there would be a problem. He was very strong. The surgery was finished and he was stitching him up when his heart stopped. He tried to resuscitate him but it didn't help. They did find 2 more stones, one was very large and was close to closing off the bladder. There was also a mass that he took a sample of to have checked. He would have had to have surgery eventually but I can't help but feel like I shouldn't have put him thru it.
Thank you so much for allowing me to post here. I knew that fellow yorkie owners would understand how I am feeling.
I am sorry about your loss. Go out and get another one right away. It really helps, I have a pup she is about 7 mo. old and weighs 2 lbs. They have yorkie rescue pups that are closer to your ages if you do not want a pup. They need a home and someone to care for them.
