Gus was scratching a lot below his ear. I was felt around and found a lump. I gave him a bath & inspected the area. It looked like a cluster of scabs. Took him to the vet, & the vet wasn't sure what it was. The vet prescribred Amoxi for a bacterial infection, & Prednisone to stop the itching/scratching. He'll finish his 10 days on meds tomorrow, & it's almost cleared up. He's been drinking huge amounts of water & peeing a lot to the medicine. |
