I have a 5 mos. old yorkie who has been pretty good about going on pee pads. Whenever I leave the house, or cannot attend to her, I put her in an exercise pen where she has a bed, food & water & pee pads. She has begun ripping up the pee pads & destroying her area when I leave her in there. What shoud I do? I cannot leave her out of her pen all the time. Should I crate her instead...She has a crate, but cries when I put her in there. I wish she would just pee outside, but I am in colorado, so it doesn't work well to take her out in the winter. It seems she is developing separation anxiety...Any advice?
