Are you just talking about the ears or the whole coat. If you just messed up on the upper ears just give it a few weeks. The whole coat can take probably about a year depending on the dog. My boys coat has been growing now for about 9 months and we are almost to the floor. But I do trim it every few weeks to keep it looking nice.
