We'll I used the rotarty tool to cut out cardboard for the edges but it wasn't that straight. And it just seemed easier to use scissors when cutting the fringe. You NO I didn't use the yard stick but I am going to get one for the next one. I also did not measure the flannel pieces out before I started. I think I am going to do that next time to. They may not have been even. It is very forgiving. I know that all of the slits that I cut for the fringes probably were not the same but for the most part it looks pretty good. Yea, he seemed to like getting his picture taken on the new blanket.

It is a really easy project and it really doesn't take that much time. I would rather use a table than the floor which is what I did.....LOL
