We have the same problem here. Our sleigh bed is very high .. well past my waist. We don't let the dogs sleep with us. I'm afraid Chloe would fall off and hit the wood floor and at just over 2 lbs. I am afraid of what may happen. My dh wont get a low bed though he loves our bed
