I am guilty as charge when being owned by my Yorkie.. from the day I got him my bed was just a mattress on the floor and now an upgrade to a low enough platform bed on top of carpet so he can jump up and down without hurting himself. Some may think I am crazy but I also had that sick fear of him falling and getting hurt. Especially when he jumped from my friends hands only a foot off the ground and broke his leg
I def think it is safer and I think low beds a romantic
