She has been sleeping, eating, and taking potty breaks all day. She hasn't played though. She needs to sleep to get rest so her body can heal itself. What a MIRACLE that she is still alive!!!!!!! I am so happy to hear that she is home and doing better!
Does the doctor know exactly what happened? Was it a seizure? It sounded like it was unclear, and that DH may not have even stepped on her. If he did, know this can and does happen to everyone. No matter how careful we try to be, things can happen. And things even happen that are not caused by us. Just last Monday, my DH was sitting in the den reading the paper. Lexi was in her bed right next to the couch. All of a sudden, a really loud noise came from the dishwasher. It made my husband jump up and run into the kitchen. When he turned around, he saw Lexi lying on the floor. Apparently the noise made her jump, too, and she landed funny. She was limping and couldn't take more than 3 steps. The vet said to let her rest, and she would probably walk it off. When I called home at lunchtime, she was walking, but with a limp. By the time I got home from work, her limp was gone. It was such a freak thing, and it wasn't caused by anyone....
