was anyone else taken aback by the formerly living stuffed moose, coyote and other little creatures in her living room? what animal lover surrounds themselves with hunted and then stuffed animals like that. it was very creepy. and she left us alone for about 20 minutes and came back with puppies one by one. they were so adorable, but we got a bad vibe when she said she also showed dachshunds and chihuahuas. very unsettling.

Very few really good breeders can afford beautiful country homes, and I never met one who has the luxury of an on-site groomer. A groomer being there should be a huge red flag saying "high volume brokerage operation." A good breeder's money goes into great dogs and shows, and if there's any left we think about nice things for the house. Wake up people, ask for pedigrees, ask to see the puppies' parents, insist on AKC registration---yes, AKC is the only legitimate registry. |
