It also depends on how good a runner You are
I don't think a Yorkie will have any trouble with an avg paced .... low to moderate run
But if your a long distance runner
or if you really hit the road at a good clip
you're going to have to remember that these are little guys and don't have the stamina or the gait of larger dogs
Take your dog on a run for a few blocks first and see how she does
