When I bought Joey, the breeder told me that lots of people will ask me to breed him. She wasn't kidding, but most people won't tell you how much your dog will change once he is bred. Breeders have to put up with a lot more than the rest of us do, and I hope you do more research before you decide to do this. Another thing I learned on Yorkietalk is that it's possible for your dog to catch a sexually transmitted disease even if it's the first time for both. Have you had your dog evaluated for his suitability? So many diseases are genetic and don't show up until age 2 or 3, that's why the tests are important. Best of luck! |
