I actually bought a Rotary Cutting Mat. Have you heard of this? And I bought a rotary tool. I think this will make it pretty easy to cut and measure. The rotary tool is hard plastic and has inch lines on it. You lay your fabric on it and just use the rotary tool to cut. I hope it is as easy as it sounds...hehe...
