I had my beautiful Himalayan cat at the vet yesterday for his annual exam and shots. He is about 8 years old, my favorite cat. The vet found one enlarged kidney. They did blood and urine tests. Kidney disease is common in Persians and Himalayans. This evening I missed a call from the vet, they want me to call back to discuss the lab results. In the past when labs have been fine, they just leave a message saying so. Now I am very worried. He has not acted sick, no urinary symptoms, no increase in thirst and has not lost one ounce of weight compared to his visit a year ago. Please send positive thoughts our way. I'm not ready to lose this lover boy. Thanks.
