We have a leather couch in the family room and they are on it all the time. Yes, there are some scratch marks (hard to see-couch is dark green leather) but if it were fabric I know it would be ripped by now and stinky. My car seats are something else. They are beige leather and you can see all the scratch marks. Maybe color has something to do with seeing scratch marks
