well you are his mom so you know when you need to be concerned- Layla will sometimes eat very little during the day btu she has never eating nothing. He is a good size and if his gums are pink that is great- if it were me i'd give it the night and if in the morning i still cant' get her to eat a treat or anything i would call the vet. He could just have an upset tummy. Has he pooped today?
will he let you look in his mouth? maybe does he have a sore tooth, or a cut on his gums?
