I dry off a little bit first-kinda pat dry and then rub the oil in. Then I let myself air dry for a few minutes. (I only put it on my arms and legs so I just walk around in a towel for awhile, normally, I go do my hair or something while I'm waiting to dry) Your skin should soak it up pretty quickly.
