[QUOTE=amandawash;2413181]Wow!! You are an amazing mommy!!! I give you and your husband massive amounts of credit for saving your babies life with CPR, and then by rushing her to the vet and insisting they do whatever they can to save her.
I wonder if she began seizing before your hubby tripped over her and that's why she couldn't get out of the way?
This is exactly what we are talking about right now. Very good point, that is why I told the vet no lepto and no rabies for a couple weeks after these shots. I had given Gia frontline when we came home from her shots by the injection site. The emergency vet isn't ruling the meds out. What if the coldness from the snow outside cause her to freeze up along with those shots. It was all very weird because my husband caught himself as he tripped. He said he didn't step on her, but nudged her with the top of his toes and foot. The room was dark with dark carpet, there was only the light from the fire place. The only thing was she did let out a cry. She is very smart and she always moves out of the way. She is very fast too. We aren't sure what exactly happened. At the time we thought it was from my husbands trip but now who knows. |
