He is extremely active but his stools are soft and yesterday for a brief time, it was liquid. Now it is soft and foul smelling. I have been giving him some yogurt to help. We have had him for about a week and when I took him to the vet two days after we got him, he had a clean bill of health (no fleas, worms, etc.).
This is a very young puppy and it could be coccidia or something. If this is not better by tonight, I'd get him in asap for a fecal test. Make sure he is drinking water, make sure his gums are pink (white gums would be a sign of dehydration), and keep a very close eye on him. You could give some canned pumpkin. Did you feed any new treats or any human food?
