LOL! I think you mis-understood me, I meant we refer to their cocker as an American Cocker Spaniel and they just call them plain old Cocker Spaniel and call ours an English Cocker Spaniel while we just call them A cocker spaniel
I have always liked the look of the American CS, since I a was little girl, they are so showy but I think I prefer our Cocker, with the big sad,droopy eyes and "hang dog " expression. The pups are sooo adorable!
As always its best to do as much research as poss before making a decision!

But just look-how cute are these
