Make sure the hair is cleared out from his ears...Yorkies need to have it pulled out. You can try to put cotton in his ears when you bath him and that could help too. With tonsilitis I am sure they gave you antibiotic. If it keeps happening then I am sure your vet will want to actually remove them.
